I looked at a lot of options for these refurbished units on Amazon. Also looked at a lot of sellers that ship the same item. I bought from EZ Buy Cafe. They had the higher price but their price included shipping and they had very high cust satisfaction ratings. Count me satisfied as well. The unit came very well packed and it's exactly as advertised. Had it set up and running in no time at all. I think this is a great buy for the specs. The unit itself came very clean, inside and out (no dust bunnies inside at all). Came with Windows 7 Pro disk, keyboard, and mouse, as advertised. Comes with notes about where to find license code as refurbished unit, for activating windows. I don't really care about the keyboard and mouse since I already have ones I like better but everything they said they would send they did send. . They even shined up the outside of the case pretty well. Looks very good.
Got this as a family computer that does not need to do any serious gaming or other intense graphics work. But it is, nevertheless, pretty potent with the 4 Gigs ram and speedy processor.
Many computers comparable to this one (refurbished) come with XP. I didn't want XP (I'm over it) and I didn't want, surely not, Windows 8. So, getting Win 7 Pro at this price with large harddrive and 4 GBs rams is just right for my use. All works flawlessly so far. And, it's quiet. Very quiet running computer.

Windows 7 RULES! And this Dell is FANTASTIC!

After a disappointment buying a brand-new Windows 8 computer, which was returned to the store only after 4 days, I found this Dell refurb. (I think it really is brand-new!) It is powerful, has loads of hard disk space, and performs flawlessly. Hooked it up and plugged it in, and I am a real hero to my family now. Included with the tower was a new mouse and keyboard. A Windows 7 CD is also included, though I did not need to use it for anything. Coming from Windows XP (the best operating system) to Windows 7, was the most natural and easiest progression ever! Why Microsoft is trying to force everyone to relearn everything with Windows 8 is beyond me...

Dell Optiplex 755 Tower plus

I ordered two of these Craving Savings for my sons and their family. I am pleased to state that both computers came within the stated time of arrival and in great condition. Both are loaded with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. There was no problem with setting up the computers and then adding the software the families used. Great buy and wonderful company ...
