5Great computer! Great price!
By TommyTomTed
My girlfriend and I bought this for a friend who really needed a computer. I had it on the bench setting it up for a couple of days. I thought I would have to add a graphics card to get 1080p, but no, this thing did 1920x1200 when I hooked it up to my 26" Samsung!

Very impressed with the on-board graphics. Got a 22" Samsung LED to go with it. This computer looks great on the 1920x1080 monitor. Plays HD YouTube videos very nicely.

These EzBuyCafe people know what they are doing. This computer looks and acts brand new. It was originally Vista, but has been upgraded to W7 Pro 64bit. They did a great rectification.

For the $246 we paid this rig absolutely rocks! Our friend is in computer heaven.

UPDATE: I was up at the woman's apartment showing her how to use the computer and noticed this rig has a 250GB hard drive, not the 750GB hard drive that is advertized. I will sure be talking to EzBuyCafe about this, and will update this review. Pretty big difference between a 750GB HD and a 250 GB HD.

2nd Update: I called the company on the phone. EzbuyCafe. Got the owner. He couldn't have been nicer.
He send me out a 500 GB Hard Drive the next day to make up the difference. This company, EzbuyCafe is doing a great job with the rectification program with Microsoft. At $246 these are a real value. I have a friend who has a dog of a computer. I am defiantly going to show him this rig.

3rd Update: I ordered another one of these fine computers for a friend who really needs a good computer.
It has arrived, been set up, and installed in my friends apartment. He is in computer heaven! This has to be the best rig for $250 on the planet.

This was my 2nd purchase from EzbuyCafe. On the first there was an issue about the HD. When I checked it showed as a 250GB hard drive instead of the 750GB hard drive advertized. As it turns out this was not EzbuyCafe's fault at all. It was Microsoft's fault! They did the upgrade to Windows 7 and did not do the partition correctly. There really is a 750 GB hard drive in the PC. It was just they way Microsoft did the partition for the operating system made it look like a 250 GB hard drive when you clicked properties.

The owner of EzbuyCafe, Steve, is such a stand up guy that he sent me a 500 GB hard drive for free before finding out it was Microsoft who made the mistake. I'm sending it back with my thanks. I can't overstate what a great value these refurbished rigs from EzbuyCafe are. When we (my girlfriend and I) were looking to help a scriptwriting friend a few months ago all the PC's in the $250 price range had either a single core or a 1.8GHz dual core. This had a Pentium D 3.4Ghz dual core processor! 4GB of RAM. 1080p right out of the box!

If you are working on a tight budget, or just want to save some serious money, I don't think you can find more bang for the buck than one of these $250 refurbished 620 Dell towers from EzbuyCafe. Microsoft does the inside upgrade, and EzbuyCafe does the outside. Both rigs I ordered looked new, and performed flawlessly. I don't think there is a better deal out there, and when I called the company to ask a question, the owner, Steve, answered the phone and could not have been nicer.

I will be ordering from EzbuyCafe again. An outstanding seller!

1Bait and switch
By Wizard11
I ordered this box and instead of the specs indicated, I received an old Windows XP box (not Windows 7) with a Pentium4 2.99GHz chip vs the 3.4 GHz Dual Core indicated. This box also does not have 4 GB of RAM as advertised. Case on the box is filthy and definitely not refurbished. Super disappointed! I now get to spend time to try to rectify this somehow. Buyer beware!!!

4Refurbished Dell
By John Rutherford
Received this PC 2 weeks ago. After unpacking, I thought it was brand new. It is much faster than my old HP. I would highly recomend buying refurbished if possible. It looks and runs like new at half the price or even less.
